Easter was wonderful.  2/3rds of my family were here and that is always great.  I need to see baby Jude again. He is 9 weeks old now so of course he changes every day.  I do too and I'm not the same age. My changes are different.

YWAM called me and want to republish my book Becoming A World Changing Family.  This is a wonderful surprise. Baker quit publishing and now it is being picked up by YWAM.  Yea!  My newest is going to be published by New Hope Publishers which is an arm of the Southern Baptist.  That's great too but it will take a year for it to be out. In the meantime I am teaching it at various churches. And I like that.

I'm going to Slovenia in June and taking my 15 year old granddaughter Allie.  We will start in Romania and then hope we can find a way to Slovenia. I've took Heather when she was 15 to India and China, Erin at 15 to India and Europe, and Morgan at 15 to Macao, Hong Kong and China so this time it is Allie's turn.

The great Lord gives me wonderful opportunities. I am continually amazed at all the blessings he gives me.  If you want blessings from the lord, it is a simple process.  Just ask to be his child and he to be your Abba Father and you will receive his blessings.  Fantastic.

Now I have some idea what it is like to be homeless. I was stranded in the Ft. Lauderdale airport, no motel rooms available, no food available and my flight was at 6:30 a.m.  That however is better than what NWAirlines would do for me. After they canceled their flight on Saturday night they told me they could get me out on Wednesday morning.  That I couldn't handle so I bought another ticket on SWAirlines. How do you wait 4 days for a plane in a city where you don't belong?

superbowl

The Indianapolis home team is playing that Chicago team. One thing for sure.  One of them will win and one will lose. What will it feel like to lose, or even to win? How will they meet their friends at home?  How will the home town react?  We'll see.

I discovered last week how important a cell phone is to all of us.  Checking with several friends I found that they all were carrying one. What brought this to mind was that morning when I pulled out of my drive way, I realized I didn’t have my cell phone with me. I immediately turned around, drove the block back to my house, and ran in, grabbed my phone, and stuck it in my pocket. Ahhh. This is better. Then I got this message.

“My child, if it is important to you to have your cell phone with you all the time, how important is it that you take me with you all the time too?”   Yes, you know where that message came from. I am just thankful that the Lord reminded me and especially that he cares so much that he always available and wanting to go with me all the time.

If anyone reads this, please let me know. You see, I have to have a reason to do this.      Blessings,               Donna

Wednesday, November 30, 2005

I have been hunting for the place to write. Did I find it? This is a good day and all is well. Surprisingly tomorrow we are in December. Whatever happened to November?
